我們並不著眼於技術的複刻,而是引導學員將技術化作思考的語言。我們致力於培育下一代,讓他們在具備精密工程思維的同時,擁有對世界的哲學詮釋能力。這些「工程設計者」不僅是技術的執行者,更是這個世代極為稀缺的戰略性人才。

We don’t teach students to replicate technology; we teach them to use technology as a language for inquiry. Our goal is to cultivate a new generation of "Engineer-Designers"—individuals who possess both the rigor of precision engineering and the philosophical depth to shape our reality. In an era of rapid automation, these transdisciplinary thinkers are the most vital resource for both the future of industry and the arts.

在演算法與自動化全面接管的時代,我們培育的 未來工程設計者/藝術家/科技藝術駭客,不再只是解決問題的技術載體,而是將電路視為一種非人(Non-human)的思維器官與當代物質媒介。他們透過電子迴路中的干擾、反饋與能量遞變,揭示隱匿於系統後方的隱喻,為當代藝術與科技的交界點,重構人類與萬物本體對話的可能。

In an era dominated by ubiquitous algorithms and automated systems, the "Engineer-Designers" we cultivate move beyond functional problem-solving. They treat circuits as non-human cognitive organs and contemporary material media. Through the feedback loops, signal interference, and energy dynamics of electronics, they unveil the deep systemic metaphors of our time—reconfiguring the ontological dialogue between humans, technology, and the material world at the nexus of contemporary art and science.

當電路不再只是為了「功能」而存在,它便成為了「媒介」。學員將運用這些電路,轉化出具備:

  • 實用性 (Utility): 解決生活中的真實問題。

  • 推測性 (Speculative): 演繹未來科技的可能性。

  • 藝術性 (Conceptual/Artistic): 傳達對於社會、感知與技術的批判思考。

 

Once a circuit transcends mere functionality, it evolves into a medium. Participants leverage this medium to manifest works that embody the following dimensions:"

  • Utility: Addressing real-world challenges through pragmatic design.

  • Speculation: Exploring the boundaries of future technologies and alternative realities.

  • Conceptual & Artistic Inquiry: Articulating critical reflections on society, human perception, and the nature of technology.

世界觀的重構 Ontological Reconstruction

工程師負責「如何做」,藝術家負責「為什麼做」。在這裡,我們要求兩者合一。學員將透過自己的作品,打造出一套專屬的敘事系統,讓你從科技的「使用者」,正式跨越為科技的「定義者」。

Engineers focus on 'how to build,' while artists focus on 'why we create.' At Spectral Pulse, we demand both. Through their projects, participants construct unique narrative systems, transforming from passive users of technology into active architects of our technological future.
